WON THE GRADE ONE WOODY STEPHENS S

Hog Creek Hustle won his career debut by three-quarters of a length in August at Ellis Park before an unplaced finish in the Grade 3 Iroquois Stakes at Churchill Downs. He rebounded to win an allowance/optional claiming race going 1 1/16 miles at Churchill Downs before closing his 2-year-old season with a fifth-place finish in the Grade 2 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes.

In his 2019 debut, Hog Creek Hustle showed he could compete at the graded stakes level with a runner-up finish in the Grade 3 Lecomte Stakes on Jan. 19 at Fair Grounds. He followed with a fourth in the Grade 2 Risen Star Stakes Presented by Lamarque Ford on Feb. 16 and then ran eighth in the Grade 2 Twinspires.com Louisiana Derby on March 23.

Shortening back to one turn for the Grade 3 Pat Day Mile Stakes presented by LG and E and KU, Hog Creek Hustle rallied to finish second to Mr. Money. Five weeks later, Hog Creek Hustle closed from off the pace to take command in the Grade 1 Woody Stephens Stakes Presented by Mohegan Sun and held off a late rally from Nitrous to earn his first career stakes win.

Hog Creek Hustle is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Majestic Dunhill.
