History

In the early 1980's War Horse Place was developed as a division of the North Ridge Complex.  It is now one of the most highly improved, well located farms in the Bluegrass.

Purchased in early 2002 by Gerry and Dana Aschinger, War Horse Place has been completely renovated and has become one of the top broodmare facilities in Lexington. With the addition of an office facility with guest quarters, a Sales Prep barn, the only track shaped straight away walker in the Lexington area, and a stallion facility, War Horse Place is able to provide the ultimate in horse care and service.
