| Because of our outstanding location, we are within minutes
of Fasig-Tipton and the Keeneland facility where
the best yearling, weanling and broodmare sales
take place throughout the year. |
| Some of our clients believe in the traditional
method of “ponying” their horses
in order to condition them for the sales.
Here at War Horse Place, we have a half mile
track with excellent footing and use experienced
gentle horses solely for this type of exercise.
We believe in providing every aspect of sales
preparation for our clients’ horses.

Our efforts to provide only the best in sales
preparation can be seen with our recent construction
of the first, track shaped, straight away Kraft
Brothers Inc. walker in the Lexington area.
It’s sturdy, quiet and excellent construction
provides a safe and efficient facility to condition
horses. Because of the oval shape of the walker,
there is less stress put on the horses than
the more common, round shaped walkers.

No sales preparation could be complete without the hours
of hand-walking intermixed with the other methods
of conditioning. Furthermore, the schooling
for proper showing and walking techniques is
imperative and all are provided here at War
Horse Place during their sales preparation.
