A homebred for Slam Dunk Racing, Drain the Clock won twice in his three starts as a two-year-old in 2020, his only loss that year coming when he broke an iron and lost his rider. His three-year-old campaign began with an impressive victory in the black-type Limehouse Stakes, followed by a romp in the G3 Swale and G3 Bayshore. A G1 victory took Drain the Clock to the top of the sport after a thrilling stretch duel in the 2021 Woody Stephens with the formidable Jackie’s Warrior.

2020 Champion Sprinter, multi-millionaire and multiple graded stakes winner Whitmore is a hard-knocking son of Pleasantly Perfect. In April of 2020 he became the all-time leading winner of stakes races at Oaklawn Park, and the only horse to ever win the Count Fleet Sprint Handicap (G3) three times, which he accomplished in consecutive years. A foal of 2013, he has won or placed in an incredible 23 graded stakes including the G1 Breeders’ Cup Sprint, G1 Arkansas Derby, G1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt, G1 Churchill Downs Stakes and G1 Forego.

LUCKY STRIDE

By Declaration of War, bred by Aschinger Bloodstock Holdings out of the Ghostly Minister mare Magic Madison, Lucky Stride began her career at three in Puerto Rico where she was a multiple graded stakes winner. Returning to the mainland for her four-year-old season she was black-type placed in the Zagora Stakes at Belmont Park and the Thirty Eight Go Go Stakes at Laurel. She broke through to win the Wayward Lass Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs as a five-year-old.

2020 Canadian Horse of the Year, Mighty Heart was raised at War Horse Place and sired by our own Dramedy. Mighty Heart captured the first two legs of the 2020 Canadian Triple Crown, winning the Queen’s Plate by 7 1/2 lengths at Woodbine and taking the Prince of Wales Stakes at Fort Erie in style. In 2021 he has captured the listed Blame Stakes at Churchill Downs in thrilling fashion, and Woodbine’s G3 Dominion Stakes. He has career earnings of over $880,000.

Bred and raised by War Horse Place, Martini Glass won the 2018 edition of the G2 Azeri Stakes at Oaklawn Park. Her impressive Azeri victory followed a win in the G3 Royal Delta Stakes. She hit the board in each one of her graded stakes starts: the G1 Juddmonte Spinster, G1 La Troienne, G1 Delaware handicap and G3 Houston Ladies Classic and earned over $898,000.

NEPTUNE’S STORM

SOLD BY WAR HORSE PLACE

Multiple graded stakes winning Neptune’s Storm earned $918,485 in 21 starts with seven victories, including the G2 Hill Prince Stakes, G3 San Francisco Mile, Singletary Stakes, Cinema Stakes and Wickerr Stakes. He has finished on the board in nine graded stakes, including a 2nd in the G1 Hollywood Derby.

Bred and raised by War Horse Place, Night Ops made his first graded score the Cornhusker Handicap (G3) on July 5th 2020. In 2021 he returned to graded company in the G3 Ben Ali at Keeneland where he finished a close runner up for second place honors. A son of Warrior’s Reward, Night Ops was bred and raised by War Horse Place and consigned to the 2017 Fasig-Tipton October Sale.

Bred by Gerry & Dana Aschinger, multiple graded stakes winner Prayer for Relief was foaled and raised at War Horse Place. He started 46 times, placing in 21 stakes races before retiring with earnings in excess of $2.2 million. He won the G3 Iowa Derby, G2 West Virginia Derby, G2 Super Derby and G3 Prairie Meadows Cornhusker Handicap. He was on the board in the G2 Strub, G2 Suburban and G1 Woodward and competed in the G1 Donn, G1 Whitney, G1 Clark, G1 Stephen Foster, G1 Santa Anita Handicap and G1 Breeders' Cup Classic.

RAISED AT WAR HORSE PLACE

Multiple graded stakes winning mare Reneesgotzip was raised at War Horse Place and bred by longstanding client John Liviakis, The turf specialist started 16 times, won 8 races and has career earnings of over $860,000. She won the G2 Santa Ynez and G3 Rancho Bernardo and competed in the G1 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint three times. Reneesgotzip was sold to Shadai Farm for $1,000,000 upon her retirement from racing.

RAISED AT AND SOLD BY WAR HORSE PLACE

A graduate of the War Horse Place sales consignment at the 2013 Fasig Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearling Sale, multiple graded stakes winner Tommy Macho was trained by Todd Pletcher and owned by Paul Pompa Jr.

He won the G3 Fred W. Hooper Stakes at Gulfstream Park in January 2018, having previously won the 2016 edition of the race. Retiring with earnings of over $938,000 he won or placed in 16 of 2 starts, including the G1 Met Mile, G1 Carter, G2 Belmont Sprint Championship, G2 Pennsylvania Derby, G3 Hal's Hope, G3 Discovery, G3 Dwyer and G3 Hardacre Mile.

A graduate of the War Horse Place sales consignment at the 2020 Fasig Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearling Sale, North County is unbeaten and won the black-type Untapable Stakes at Fair Grounds in her third start.

A daughter of Uncle Mo, Gomo broke her maiden at second asking before going on to a solid second place finish in the G2 Sorrento Stakes. She took first place honors in the G1 Darley Alcibiades at Keeneland in the Fall of 2017. She sold to Bridlewood Farm the following month at the Fasig Tipton November Sale for $1,500,000 as a broodmare prospect.

Risky Mandate was raised at War Horse Place for owner/breeder Ghost Hollow Farms. Two victories in three career starts were followed up by a closing third in the 2019 G2 Prioress Stakes.

Renee's Titan took the 2013 edition of the G2 Santa Ynez Stakes at Santa Anita, defeating Beholder. She competed in the G2 Sorrento, G1 Del Mar Debutante, G1 Hollywood Starlet, G1 Las Virgenes, G2 Beaumont, G3 Eight Belles and G1 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint. At the conclusion of her racing career she was purchased by Bridlewood Farm for $1,100,000.

TONITO’S

Foaled and raised at War Horse Place, Tonito’s was sold in our consignment at the 2020 Fasig-Tipton February Mixed Sale. After winning on debut at Santa Anita in October 2021, Tonito’s came 2nd in the Listed Desi Arnaz Stakes the following month in her next start, and closed out the year with a 3rd in the G1 Starlet Stakes at Los Alamitos.
